Ravi, BJP State general secretary and MLA, on Thursday demanded that the coalition government implement the report of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly’s committee on alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Bangalore–Mysore Infrastructure Corridor project (BMIC) by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE). The report was ready about two years ago, but the government has not taken any action on it, he said. The Kumaraswamy government known for “adjustment politics” had not shown interest in the implementation of the report, he alleged at a press conference here. Mr. Ravi said the report recommended a probe by the investigative agencies. Based on a survey, the House committee had recommended dropping about 1,160 acres of both private and government land from the project.
