The Ottawa Hospital’s chief ethicist has been terminated from his job at the hospital. The Hospital thanks Dr. Foreman for his contributions and the development of the Hospital’s Clinical and Organizational Ethics team. “The Hospital thanks Dr. Foreman for his contributions and the development of the Hospital’s Clinical and Organizational Ethics team. The team will continue to provide leadership and support for all clinical and organizational ethics in the hospital,” a spokeswoman said in a statement. In 2012, Foreman was involved in a ground-breaking project that saw ethicists routinely involved in solving issues in the fast-paced emergency department.
