Speaking in an interview on RTV’s Atesem on Friday, March 20,2026, he said he personally called the president to to sack the interior minister and also called the interior minister personally to address him about this matter, indicating to him he deserves to be sacked. “I called Muntaka to tell him that the president must remove him from office because he was not genuine,” he said. Meanwhile, the Minority in Parliament has also raised serious concerns about the same recruitment process, accusing the government of irregularities and lack of transparency.
