Newly-elected Awami League General Secretary and Roads, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said that he has never compromised with morality at the secretariat. The Awami League leader said: “I abide by principles and morality head to toe.”Obaidul Quader made this comment on Monday morning after Transport Secretary MAN Siddique along with other staff from the ministry greeted him with flowers and sweets when he entered in the ministry. The minister said: “The new committee will pay their respects at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Gopalganj after Sheikh Rehana’s return to the country.”“As the general secretary of Awami League, I need to take more responsibility of the party work and I hope everyone from the ministry will keep working for the ministry’s progress in different sectors,” he said.
