An animal-loving Ottawa man accused of threatening to kill the mayor of Miami-Dade County on Instagram is now the subject of a Miami police investigation. Daniel Bowes, 27, is being investigated for a comment Miami police believe he made on the photo-sharing social media app that targeted Mayor Carlos Gimenez, his family and loved ones. Gimenez re-posted an image of a poster for half-price pet adoptions on Wednesdays at Miami Animal Services in January 2015. I don’t have much to lose, ever see what s (sic) person that has nothing to lose is capable of?? Bowes’s own car, a modified Subaru that was parked outside his parents’ Stittsville home, is also featured on his Instagram account.
