Daniel Johnstone (16) is due to return to his special school on Thursday for the first since before Christmas. “I’ve really seen him regress,” said his mother Jane Johnstone, from Bridgetown, Co Wexford. They will be followed by the full return of special classes in mainstream primary schools, which are due to reopen on February 22nd. Daniel really needs that full-time support. He really needs routine.
