‘Hypocrite’ Rawlings regularly visited Mahama to enjoy coffee - Victor Smith


Mr Victor Smith has revealed that former President John Mahama considered the advice of the founder of his party as very critical for which he tried to keep the former President closer and sought his counsel frequently. Mr Smith said Rawlings is untruthful if he says President Mahama didn’t value or sought his counsel as someone who has been Head of State for a combined period of 19 years. Mr Victor Smith who was appointed Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom narrated that he knows as a fact, that Mr Rawlings used to visit the private residence of then President Mahama to “enjoy coffee” with the president. He vehemently disputed that then President Mahama didn’t consult Mr Rawlings on a number of things he did. “He [Rawlings] used to visit President Mahama to have coffee.
