The north Londoners will hope the fightback could prove a turning point ahead of their return to Premier League action at home to fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest next weekend. Analysing the performance in the Sky Sports studio, Jamie Redknapp called on Tudor to continue with both Solanke and Richarlison up front after their success on Merseyside. ‘It gave them an outlet for the players and Liverpool struggled to deal with it,’ the former Manchester United captain added. ‘It was an outlet, they were knocking people over and between now and the end of the season, with those battles they have every week… Nottingham Forest is the next league game.
