The latest amount resulted from inflows of $719.11 million and outflows of $1.17 billion. In a statement, the BSP said the $719.11-million registered investments for the month was a 29.5-percent decrease from the $1.01 billion posted in June. Hot money stayed in the negative territory in the first seven months of the year, with net outflows hitting $3.76 billion, 460 percent bigger than the year-ago figure. The Bangko Sentral expects net hot money inflows of $2.4 billion this year.
