As a film franchise, Transformers has never been much interested in pleasing critics, but it looks like it’s now even upsetting the dead. More specifically, Winston Churchill, whose former home, Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, is being used as the set of Adolf Hitler’s headquarters for the upcoming Transformers movie, The Last Knight, with swastikas aplenty. SS stormtroopers and German military equipment flank the property in a move that has been blasted by veterans’ groups and former military commanders. “I know it’s a film,” Colonel Richard Kemp, the former commander of British forces in Afghanistan, said to the Sun. He will be turning in his grave.”Once the Transformers actually begin transforming, that may be a high possibility as Churchill is buried a mere mile away in Bladon, reports The Guardian.
