However, he conceded that the group of like-minded lawmakers of the party had existed for around three months. Riaz will be the parliamentary leader of Tareen’s like-minded group in the National Assembly, while Niwani will be the parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly. Punjab Assembly MPA Salman Naeem said during the dinner that supporters of Tareen decided to formally launch their own group.
