The environmentally friendly innovation was developed by Naresuan University in the province. Phitsanulok authorities, the Army and the Community Forest Network Association of the province plan to produce a total of 1,901 leaf plates. Phitsanulok Governor Supachai Iamsuwan led the campaign to produce the food containers and will give them to the Royal Household Bureau for distribution to those attending the Royal funeral. The innovation was initiated by Deputy Professor Samorn Hiranpraditkul, of Naresuan University, with the aim of reducing foam in the food container industry. They will be submitted to the Royal Household Bureau on October 6.
