It was a tough battle, but one that serves to show just how pointless a huge chunk of season 7 was, given how much of that season was dedicated to one specific plotline. Cersei sees the wight, agrees to come and then when it comes time to deliver she…does nothing. Game of Thrones HBOA) Cersei could have brought her forces to the battle in a “save the day” last minute moment that helps turn the tide of battle before the Night King goes down. B) Cersei could have brought her forces ahead of time and then betrayed people during the actual battle.
