Azmin said to date, four companies had their approval rescinded for violating the conditions while 35 other firms were under investigations for breaches. “As a result of the closure of non-essential services, the economy was estimated to operate at 45% of its capacity during the period. “Employers must ensure all their workers undergo screening at any of the over 3,000 Socso panel health clinics nationwide, ” he said. “We will collaborate with the police and Labour Department to monitor the activities of the industries to ensure they comply with the standard operating procedure, ” he said.
