Referring to the video posted on the Facebook page of his DAP challenger Wong Tack, Liow said:“It is a method to create fake news and false impression to damage and hurt others. On Saturday, Wong’s supporters were streaming a live video via his official Facebook page at the nomination centre here. In one of the videos, voices could be heard shouting “Liow Tiong Lai, tunjuk IC (show your IC)” followed by “penipu (cheat)”. Liow said Lau’s IC should not be an issue since the commission had confirmed that he could contest. He is defending the Bentong parliamentary seat in a three-cornered fight against Wong and PAS Supporters Club chairman N. Balasubramaniam.
