House of Fraser and the online retailer Missguided have been forced to withdraw a number of products after a laboratory test detected fur from the animals on items labelled as “faux”. The Humane Society International (HSI) launched the study with Sky News after the issue was raised by Donna Allison, a customer of Missguided. Ms Allison bought a pair of pink stiletto heels with pom-poms which she suspected were made from real fur. Dr Phil Greaves, who analysed the items, discovered the pom-poms were consistent with cat fur.…
