The position has become vacant following the expiry of Oti Akenteng’s contract before the start of the month. The Football Association has already announced the process to begin the appointment of a new person to handle the role. Former Asante Kotoko and AshGold SC head Coach Bashir Hayford has applied for the position. He previously occupied the technical director role at the Somalian Football Federation before leaving the post at the beginning of this year.
