Stacey Sharples, 31, who is facing jail, trawled sites such as Plenty of Fish, Badoo and Facebook Dating, making it clear she wanted sex. She denied 19 charges of perverting justice in April 2024 but admitted ten counts last month at Bolton crown court. Prosecutor Mark Monaghan said Sharples cried rape if she felt rejected because the victim did not wish to pursue a relationship — or had even refused to give her a lift. One victim told The Sun he met Sharples in 2019 on Badoo, where her profile had a topless picture.
