The Sharif family met the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) top leader at Kot Lakhpat Jail who is still refusing to be shifted to hospital and insisting to remain in the correctional facility, Express News reported. Nawaz’s mother Shamim Begum, daughter Maryam Nawaz, younger brother Shehbaz Sharif and nephew Hamza Shehbaz were among others who visited the Lahore prison to inquire about the health condition of the former premier. According to insiders, Shehbaz implored his elder brother to get hospitalised for his own good, however, Nawaz refused to do so. Moreover, Maryam also urged her father to do the same, to which Nawaz asked her to remain “strong in this difficult time”. “Mian Sahib’s [Nawaz Sharif] health condition is not good,” Maryam wrote on the micro-blogging website.
