The billboard blocking the view of oncoming Luas trams for drivers at Peter PlaceA billboard erected at a junction with the Luas Green Line in south Dublin, has been labelled “dangerous” and an “accident waiting to happen”. The large sign, for property company Bannon, blocks the view for drivers as they approach the stop sign to exit Peter Place, forcing them further out into the junction to check for any oncoming trams. “The Luas told me that they’re taking care of it, but it’s still there. Someone could have a crash, it’s like they’re waiting for an accident to happen. Replying to one recent tweet on the issue, Luas confirmed the company responsible for erecting the sign has been contacted and requested to remove the sign.
