Environment Canada is warning the city is in for a round of “damaging” winds and possible power outages throughout Sunday. The agency issued a special weather statement, warning that Toronto will feel “damaging westerly winds” that are predicted to hit speeds of 90 to 110 km/h. Although warm temperatures are expect for the city Sunday, Environment Canada warns of damaging wind conditions. In Toronto, the city is warning residents to secure loose objects in yards or balconies before the winds star, to avoid injuries or possible damage. With the winds blowing strong, by the early afternoon the temperature is predicted to drop to 1 C, said the agency.
