Area Science Guy Bill Nye and CNN anchor Jim Acosta took turns scolding Republicans and Tucker Carlson over climate change amid the devastation of Hurricane Ian. On Saturday afternoon’s edition of CNN Newsroom With Jim Acosta, Nye took aim at Republicans who he claims are in thrall to a denialist base, and at a Tucker Carlson segment that he says “cherry-picked” hurricane data to mislead viewers. And I just, when people ask me, what can we do about climate change, there’s all sorts of things we can do. Obviously, climate change is making these hurricanes more ferocious, more deadly, more costly. Again, Bill Nye, he’s the host of The End is Nye.
