A post on Brogya Genfi’s Facebook timeline suggests President Akufo-Addo has okayed some GHC4,000,000 for the purchase of 26,849,952 pieces of condoms into the country. Reports are rife that the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), has approved a whopping GH¢3,993,930.36 for the import of male condoms into the country. In view of this, Brogya Genfi expressed shock at the government over the condom contract since they opposed the sanitary programme for the less-privileged girls. Today, President Akufo-Addo has awarded GHC4,000,000 (approximately) contract to a foreign company to import 26,849,952 pieces of CONDOMS for the Ministry of Health.
