Earlier this year, Haven Health, the joint venture between Amazon, J.P. Morgan and Berkshire Hathaway to lower employee healthcare costs, imploded. Not Transcarent, which instead takes a pre-negotiated percentage cut of an employer’s healthcare cost savings after the fact. Tullman sees the current pandemic as having accelerated trends towards adoption of digital health, while simultaneously increasing employer frustration with higher healthcare costs.
