‘Bikoy’ bares proof of ouster plot

MANILA, Philippines — Phone messages, house keys and a condominium access card, IDs and utility bills under a different name and purchase receipts. These were the proof that President Rodrigo Duterte’s former accuser turned star witness offered to back up his tale of a seditious plot supposedly by Vice President Leni Robredo and 31 members of the opposition, clergy, lawyers and private individuals. The plan, allegedly dubbed “Project Sodoma,” was hatched in August 2018, according to Advincula, who claimed he was introduced by Father Alejo to Trillanes and his staff member Jonnell Sangalang. He claimed the plan was to spread disinformation against the President in order to install Robredo as president and Trillanes as Vice President before June 30, 2019. Advincula claimed he was promised P500,000 by Trillanes in exchange for making the anti-Duterte videos, but that he did not receive the payment.
