Trump tweeted on Monday that the media “is working overtime to link me to the horrible man”. They will have to work very hard to prove that one. So Ridiculous!”The gunman in question wrote a document in which he called himself a white nationalist and referred to Mr Trump as “a symbol of renewed white identity”. “Especially to me, since I am one myself,” Trump said during a press briefing on Thursday.
