Collector S. Prabhakar asked the health department officials to keep sufficient stock of medicines in hospitals and conduct special camps in fever-prone areas. Workers should be kept ready to chop the uprooted trees and restore traffic at the earliest during the monsoon. He asked officials to send a report on the storage levels in lake, ponds and dams to the district administration everyday. For monsoon related complaints, people can dial 1077, 0424-2260211 or send sms to 78069-17007 so that department officials concerned are put into service at the earliest for necessary action.
