Eminent columnist Syed Abul Maksud said: “Bangabandhu has struggled most of his life – from his teenage till his death. “If he had not, this country would have never been freed or gained independence.”He added: “There was such humanity in Bangabandhu - which is difficult to express in words. “If Bangabandhu had not been in the movement, this country would never been free. He was also jailed for his humanity and kept leading the country through the power of his humanity.
