Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday, after reviewing the progress of the construction of the court complex here, Mr. Jayachandra said that the Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughter and Cattle Preservation Act, 1964, was already in force. He also said that the implementation of the law should be done in such a way that it should not lead to conflict. He told presspersons that those who were pressing for anti-cow slaughter laws should first learn to rear cattle.
