Mahama noted that the current administration has borrowed GHC140billion from 2017 to date but has virtually nothing to show for it other than consuming resources. In the history of the fourth republic, the economy has not been as bad as it is today,” Mahama said. He stated further that COVID-19 should not be an excuse for the NPP administration because the economy was struggling before Ghana had its first two cases of the novel coronavirus.
