PUNE: City residents can look forward to squeaky-clean toilets and urinals in public places with the civic administration deciding to construct 30 'advanced' toilets at strategic locations.The facilities will come up across five zones in Pune Municipal Corporation area. Residents, however, said that existing toilet facilities were in poor shape. They said that the administration was not serious about hygiene and maintenance of toilets.Vijay Shah, a resident of Shivajinagar, said most toilets were not usable. "Toilet facilities have been neglected for long. Both are unsuitable for use," he said.Manisha Thakar, a resident of Satara Road, said women face challenges in locating toilets.
