Yesteryear actress Vyjayanthimala ruled Bollywood for almost two decades. Along with being an ace actress, Vyjayanthimala is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, a Carnatic singer and a dance choreographer. Known for some brilliant performances in films like 'Madhumati', 'Naya Daur', 'Leader', 'Jewel Thief', 'Sangam' and many more, Vyjayanthimala was the first South Indian actress to become a national star and made way for other south Indian actresses to foray into Bollywood. She is known for many dance numbers in Bollywood. Though she doesn't act in films these days, her contribution to Bollywood industry will always be cherished.
