Groups across the country are this month celebrating the centenary of the New Zealand Federation Of Women's Institutes and the Ōroua Women's Institute in Feilding is taking part. The Ōroua group will be planting a Kōwhai tree at Kōwhai Park and holding a high tea on Sunday, February 21, the anniversary of the day the national body held its first meeting.
