The President opened New KCC in Eldoret on Monday with a warning against corruption and misuse of assets at the factory. Uhuru Kenyatta commissioned the refurbished facility that will produce powder milk and other products. He said Kiganjo, Nyahururu and other KCC factories will also be revived. “We will zero rate all milk and milk products in order to make them affordable and increase the number of consumers," he said. Ruto announced that subsidised fertiliser will be sold at Sh1,200 a bag from December so farmers can produce more.
