A man was shot dead and 20 admitted with injuries in Kisumu where NASA supporters heavily opposed the presidential election on Thursday. The rest were hurt when police beat them using their batons in different parts of the Opposition stronghold. Their neighbour Joyce Omollo also sought treatment at the hospital as police inflicted head and hip injuries. Caleb Osiko from Kiti Mikayi Seme sub-county was also rushed to the facility with injuries following beatings by police officers.
