A requiem held for the late Caroline Aluoch came to a stand still on Saturday after a group of students from Kisii University stormed the ceremony and made away with the coffin. Aluoch, who died while working in Saudi Arabia, was a fourth year student at the varsity. The students stormed Atemo Primary School in Kabondo-Kasipul where the coffin was placed, and carried it back to her home. Aluoch went to Saudi Arabia to work, though her family back in Homa Bay was adamant about her going. However, her family tells another story, saying Aluoch had complained of bad conditions in Saudi Arabia.
