So far, JUMP Africa, has shipped over 250,000 books to schools in four African countries; Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda, and is on track to send a million books, to support 500 learning centers all across Africa. This partnership with Fundacion Samuel Eto’o and Utopia group is definitely going to be a propellant to the achievement of the said projects and goals. This meeting on Critical Information Infrastructures Protection organised by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in partnership with the National Agency for Information and Communication Technologies,ANTIC and experts from the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organistaion-CTO is aimed at exchanging notes on best strategies to protect Cameroon's cyber space. Opening the forum, Cameroon’s Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Minette Libom Li Likeng spoke of the need for the rational management of spectrum which is an essential tool in telecommunications. MINPOSTEL boss also proposed that national regulatory bodies must continue to ensure transparency and equity in frequency broadband allocation. The Secretary General of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisations-CTO, Shola Taylor on his part pledged the organisation’s readiness to support Cameroon's administration in elaborating its national cyber security policy. At the end of the meeting, it is expected that the participants must have come up with concrete measures to manage spectrum and that will render cyber spheres of participating countries safer.

These boards carry messages in Cameroon's two official languages (French and English), announcing the competition and supporting the Indomitable Lionesses. The Head of the Communication Unit of the Organising Committee of the 2016 Women AFCON, Jean Lambert Nang says such is Cameroon’s own way of making the country vibrate to the colours of the competition. Jean Lambert Nang however noted that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the official sponsors of the competition are also expected to beef up the existing expositions. The 2016 AFCON fever heightens as the billboards stay omnipresent especially within cities hosting the different matches.

They will use the much awaited concert to pay a special tribute to the fallen. Calabash Music, the concert organisers, have also announced that in support of the artists’ move, 10% of all tickets sold will go directly towards assisting victims of the Eseka train crash. “We are calling on the public, corporate bodies and other artists to join us in this movement, which will go beyond the concert”, said Wax Dey, who is well known across the world for running massive humanitarian campaigns. Calabash Music also announced a line-up of guest artists for the concert, including famous rapper, Koppo and award-winning international songstress Gasha.

The workers however expressed hope that a solution shall be found but remained determined to continue if nothing is done.
