Stoke-on-Trent, the home of gambling giant Bet365, is reportedly suffering the consequences of the company’s enormous growth. Coates’s online sports betting company sponsors Stoke City FC, which is owned by her father John, and Bet365 is one of the biggest employers in the area. While Coates donates millions to local causes, Davies writes that the NHS funded West Midlands Gambling Harms Clinic counts former Bet365 customers among its clients. Are gambling addicts paying our wages?”The letter writer also said: “Coates is evidently an intelligent, business-savvy and driven woman. In conclusion, they wondered how “a company that has such pride in where it comes from can ultimately harm a city that it celebrates itself for helping”.

OneFootball Videos“It’s a worrying situation that everybody thinks the pyramid is strong and actually it’s not,” says Liverpool Feds’ general manager, Abby Pope. “In the men’s game we’re desperately trying to foist cost controls onto ourselves to try to help make us sustainable. We want to have all the goodies that the men’s game has got’ without understanding that the men’s game is trying to sort of row back on all that rubbish”. “The bee in my bonnet is the gap between the rhetoric spoken by people who don’t have to actually operate women’s football clubs and the reality faced by people who do operate women’s football clubs,” Methven went on to say. As such, there remains lots to be excited about in regards to the future of the women’s game, especially at the very top of the sport.

Six games from a century in charge, it is “still West Bromwich Albion”, as he puts it. Corberan recalled the struggle to watch Premier League games while viewing the English game from afar, particularly those not the more traditional ‘big four’. “You were watching Premier League games, but it was maybe one game, not every single game. The day I flew to Spain, I received a call to make an interview with West Bromwich. “Because it’s West Bromwich, I said to my wife ‘I can’t say no to them!

But the result is that Jeeps are starting to look like VWs, and Hyundais are starting to look like BMWs. We’re inundated with more messaging and noise than any generation before, but all of it is converging to more of the same, more bland. Solve uniquely African problemsIt’s a beautiful time to be an African brand. In summary, there is a tendency to averaging all around us, attention spans are shorter, and the world is noisier. Without this they run the risk of becoming one those monochromatic cars that blends into an increasingly bland background.

UK inflation slid to its lowest level since April 2021 last month and below the Bank of England’s 2 per cent target, increasing the chances of an imminent cut to interest rates. The rate of price growth in the UK economy slipped to 1.7 per cent on an annual basis in September from 2.2 per cent in the previous month, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). City analysts had expected the rate to drop to 1.9 per cent, while the Bank of England had forecast a smaller decline to 2.1 per cent. The drop was driven by lower air fares and petrol prices in September compared with the same month last year. This was offset by growth in food and non-alcoholic beverages inflation,

Romaan Basit, Ahmadiyya Archive and Research CentreSaying Islam needs revival doesn’t mean the Quran needs to change or Prophet Muhammad’ssa teachings must be revised. Absurd beliefs are held by so many Muslims: Death penalty for apostates, awaiting a bloodthirsty Messiah, and more. What needs to happen is that Muslims must go back to following the true message of the Quran. Here are five beliefs, from the seemingly endless list of absurdities that have crept into Islam, that call for immediate reform:1. He has indeed already arrived and revived the true Islamic beliefs as prophesied.

Like his ancestors for centuries, the Earl of Devon serves in Parliament, helping to make the laws of the land. British lawmakers will vote Tuesday on a bill to strip hereditary aristocrats of the right to sit and vote in House of Lords after more than 700 years. AdvertisementHe noted that Britain is one of only two countries — the other is Lesotho — with a hereditary element to its parliament. But Lotus reckons it adds a few miles to the range, so it might be considered a sacrifice worth making. The Lotus Eletre is a big car and its weight of 2,520kg jars a little for a brand that is all about simplicity and lightness. For those not yet versed in the ways of electric motoring, a battery with a capacity of 112kWh, as you’ll find in the Eletre, is massive. And let’s be honest, the people who drive anywhere near the limit probably won’t want this kind of Lotus. But if you want a sporty electric SUV that drives well and has a roomy, luxurious cabin, the Eletre might hold more appeal.

Photo: Maidenhead United FC (Neil Maskell)--Maidenhead United 3, Taunton Town 0Maidenhead United are through to the first round of the FA Cup where they'll take on League 1 side Crawley Town at York Road early next month, but they had a real struggle to see off step three side Taunton Town over two matches in the final qualifying round. But Taunton are also a good side and this was their first loss in 11 matches. In fairness to Maidenhead, they probably should have put the tie to bed long before Taunton managed to muster their spirited fightback. Reece Smith came close after a darting run into the area - having seen his own substitution for Tariq Uwakwe cancelled. Taunton deserve huge credit for how well they played, but Maidenhead advance to a home tie with Crawley at York Road to be played between November 1-4.

Either way, this means the Government is giving all Councils in England mandatory housing targets - reversing the previous Government’s decision to make housing targets merely advisory to boost the granting of consents. The Government has previously described the Grey Belt as land of "poor quality" within the Green Belt. My colleague Titilope Hassan looked at the Brownfield v Grey Belt v Green Belt debate here. Labour’s pledge that these Grey Belt sites offer 50% affordable housing leads us to something else casting a shadow over the industry. The Government will be judged on whether they can get 1.5 million homes built in the next 5 years.
