The meme contained a caption, which read: "Kid Rock Refuses to Let Jennifer Lopez On Stage, Gets Her Thrown Out of Concert After Her Big Endorsement." (SpaceX Fanclub/Facebook)Variations of the rumor spread to other Facebook accounts, including We Are Patriots, that same day. The outcome of the upcoming US Presidential election holds significant implications for employment-based immigration, particularly concerning H-1B visas, highlighted a report by the JM Financial. The report noted that if Donald Trump were to regain power, his administration's previous restrictive policies could resurface, potentially leading to increased scrutiny and denial rates for H-1B and L-1 visas.During his first term, initial denial rates for H-1B visas surged from 4 per cent to 17 per cent, while L-1 visa denials rose from 12 per cent to 28 per cent. This trend could re-emerge, impacting IT services firms that heavily rely on these visas. The report said "In his first term, Trump, through his executive order E.O.13788 "Buy American and Hire American", increased restrictions on H-1B visas". (Join our ETNRI WhatsApp channel for all the latest updates)However, the landscape has changed since Trump's first term. Current analyses indicate that H-1B wages are already 25-35 per cent above prevailing wages, making claims of wage suppression difficult to substantiate. The report outlined that "we believe Trump's Presidency, while headline negative, will have limited impact on India IT Services players. Harris Presidency, on the other hand, will largely be status quo, in our view".The evolving legislative landscape, including bipartisan bills aimed at reforming the immigration process, could also play a role in shaping the future of high-skilled immigration in the US.

Japan's top national security official said he conveyed "serious concerns" to China's foreign minister over North Korea's deepening ties with Russia after the pair held talks in Beijing. The United States and its allies say they believe up to 10,000 North Korean troops are on the brink of entering combat in Ukraine from Russia's side. Despite achieving outstanding progress, such as the creation of a new global biodiversity fund and greater inclusion of indigenous communities, the summit has also left pending important challenges for the coming years. Inclusion of indigenous communities and funds for genetic resourcesOne of the most notable achievements of COP16 has been the formal recognition of indigenous communities within the UN's biodiversity decision-making process. In addition, the “Cali” fund has been created to share the benefits derived from the commercial use of genetic resources. It is estimated that this fund could generate billions for biodiversity conservation, with the proceeds going, in part, to indigenous communities and developing countries. Funding commitments set out in the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, which include a goal of raising $200 billion annually for biodiversity protection, have not been met.

(Alamy/PA)A strike at The New York Times could affect its US election converge and staff want you to stop playing Wordle and Connections to help them. It has since remained an important mainstay of The New York Times website and seems to have paved the way for more puzzle games, such as Connections and Strands. In addition, it has asked regular readers to ‘honour the digital picket line’ and not engage with Wordle or any of The New York Times’ games. Voting has already begun and without its tech staff, The New York Times’ coverage of the most important event of the year will be badly affected. Britain’s Conservative Party made history last weekend, becoming the country’s first major party to elect a Black woman as leader. And yet this milestone was reached not by a party of the progressive center-left but by Britain’s oldest and most traditional conservative political force. After all, the Conservatives have broken glass ceilings before, picking all three of Britain’s female prime ministers, as well as its first leader who wasn’t white, Rishi Sunak. Now 44, Ms. Badenoch was born in London and raised in Nigeria, returning to Britain when she was 16. In her first parliamentary speech, in 2017, she declared, “To all intents and purposes, I am a first-generation immigrant.”

More infoRuben Amorim’s bottom line for this season is to ensure Manchester United qualify for Europe via any tactical means necessary, says Dimitar Berbatov. They are six points off fifth, the guaranteed automatic Europa League qualification spot, but can finish lower and still qualify for Europe. Should the winners of the FA Cup and League Cup finish in a Champions League place, the respective prizes of Europa League and Europa Conference League qualification get passed down to the next positions in the table - namely sixth and seventh. However, the former United striker is intrigued to see how the new boss will set up his team given the players he has at his disposal. “The players might not be 100% suited because they won’t be, they’re not his players, they’re not the squad he’s built.
