Church leaders regularly speak out against the evils of abuse, encouraging Church leaders and members to do all they can to protect the innocent. The Church has published numerous resources online to help lay leaders, members, victims and their families, such as the “Life Help” resources on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. It seems, Mr. Jones, that you are focused on reporting on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ask Church members about the joy they experience as they strive to follow Jesus Christ.

But just two submissions were received during consultation, one of which came from the National Public Health Service (NPHS). The service supported the bylaw but challenged the council to consider its role in improving and promoting public health. "It is our view that food sold in mobile shops in Invercargill tends to be processed, high in fat and in some cases sugar," NPHS regional director Vince Barry wrote.

On Tuesday the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) issued a warning to parents about magnetic jewellery and magnetic fidget toys like the items Teague’s daughter swallowed. The warning comes off the back of a recent article on RNZ that detailed five kids in Czech who swallowed magnets inspired by a TikTok “piercing challenge”. The fidget toys are often advertised as sensory toys or desk toys that can relieve stress by running your fingers through them or making various shapes with them. “If someone swallows or inhales just two of these magnets, serious harm could occur, and may result in them needing surgery. Parents who suspect their child has swallowed magnets should head straight to their nearest emergency department and inform the reception as soon as they get there.

Emeny said all domestic operators were finding it tough during the economic slowdown, including Air New Zealand. However, once exited, these routes just don’t come back for the national airline. Some of our tourist hotspots have sealed runways but no regular air service to main centres.”Exiting smaller routes further marginalises regional New Zealand for both locals and tourists wanting air service, said Russell.
