Of course, for every 10 great customers, you’re bound to get one that’s not so great — I’ve come across my fair share of those. The work-from-homersA very specific type of customer, one seen more and more often at the restaurant I work in. They bring their own food, play music out loud, and sit at tables that don’t fit their party number. How can people sit and order food, revel in the hard work of others, then just get up while no one is looking and disappear without paying? I sprinted down the street until I reached them and demanded they come back and settle the bill.

Set pieces have become even more important in the Premier League this season and Arsenal are the undisputed masters, meaning they have been attracting some flak. That tally is five goals better than Newcastle in second place and 12 more than Brighton, who do, however, have the joint-best defensive record from set pieces, with just five goals conceded. Opta say that 27.5 per cent of Premier League goals this season come from non-penalty set pieces - the second-highest rate since 2009-10. ‌"When Arsenal has a corner and they are leading, sometimes they spend over one minute just to take a corner. Arteta was asked in his press conference whether other sides would like to have the same proficiency from set pieces as Arsenal.

TikTok’s challenge to the Data Protection Commission’s (DPC) finding that the social media giant breached privacy laws in transferring European users’ personal data to China has opened before the High Court. In April 2025, following a lengthy investigation, the DPC concluded that TikTok breached the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules in sending the information to China to be accessed by engineers. Along with orders directing TikTok to suspend the data transfers and ensure compliance with data privacy laws, the DPC also imposed a fine of €530m on the company. In its High Court action, TikTok denies that it breached privacy regulations and says it believes it has complied with its obligations. TikTok also claims, among other things, that the DPC breached fair procedures in arriving at its decision.
