Hindi NewsLocalRajasthanJaipurIndian Railway Fraud ED Raid Case Update; Pravesh Kabra | Jaipur Newsरेलवे से धोखाधड़ी करने पर 13.48 करोड़ की संपत्ति कुर्क: गलत कोड का यूज कर 120 से ज्यादा रेक का अवैध परिवहन कियाजयपुर 10 घंटे पहलेकॉपी लिंकप्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) जयपुर जोनल ऑफिस ने भारतीय रेलवे से धोखाधड़ी मामले में गुरुवार को बड़ी कार्रवाई की। ये मामला एम/एस विनायक लॉजिस्टिक्स इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, एम/एस विनायक लॉजिस्टिक्स और उनके प्रोपराइटर/डायरेक्टर प्रवेश काबरा से जुड़ा है।ईडी ने 13.48 करोड़ रुपए की अचल संपत्ति को अस्थायी रूप से कुर्क किया है। इस तरह जनवरी से अब तक कुल 16.15 करोड़ रुपए की संपत्तियां कुर्क की जा चुकी हैं।16.15 करोड़ रुपए की अवैध कमाई कीईडी के मुताबिक-भारतीय रेलवे से धोखाधड़ी मामले में PMLA एक्ट के तहत कार्रवाई की गई है। जांच में सामने आया था कि आरोपियों ने साल 2021-22 के दौरान रेलवे बुकिंग रिकॉर्ड में भी हेरफेर किया था।मार्बल पाउडर,वेस्ट मार्बल पाउडर और डोलोमाइट जैसे महंगे माल को एलम पाउडर और पुट्टी जैसे कम कीमत वाले माल के रूप में दर्ज किया। इनका उद्देश्य रेलवे फ्रेट और GST की चोरी करना था।आरोपियों ने फर्जी फॉरवर्डिंग नोट, ई-फॉरवर्डिंग नोट्स और गलत कोड का यूज कर 120 से ज्यादा रेक का अवैध परिवहन किया। भारतीय भूवैज्ञानिक सर्वेक्षण (GSI) की जांच में साफ हुआ कि घोषित माल वास्तव में मार्बल और डोलोमाइट पाउडर था।इस धोखाधड़ी से आरोपियों ने 16.15 करोड़ रुपए की अवैध कमाई कर भारतीय रेलवे और सरकारी खजाने को भारी नुकसान पहुंचाया। ईडी ने कारवाई करते हुए आरोपियों की गुरुग्राम-हरियाणा में 13.48 करोड़ रुपए की आवासीय संपत्ति को कुर्क किया है।2.67 करोड़ की पहले हुई कुर्कीईडी ने इससे पहले 6 जनवरी 2026 को इनकी गुरुग्राम स्थित व्यावसायिक संपत्ति को 2.67 करोड़ रुपए की कुर्की की थी। आगे की वित्तीय जांच में सामने आया कि शेष राशि को आरोपियों ने अपने बिजनेस और प्राइवेट खर्च में यूज की है। जिसकी भरपाई के लिए ईडी ने गुरुग्राम, हरियाणा स्थित आवासीय संपत्ति को 13.48 करोड़ रुपए के बराबर मूल्य पर कुर्क किया।

A city court on Friday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Akhtar Ali, a whistleblower who had flagged alleged corruption by Sandip Ghosh during his tenure as principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The Alipore court then ordered a non-bailable warrant against Ali. Ali had complained to the state vigilance commission in 2023 against Ghosh, then principal, about alleged financial irregularities. Soon, Ali was transferred from the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital to Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital, and later the Kaliaganj Hospital in North Dinajpur. While Ghosh and others named in the chargesheet were arrested, Ali was free.

The headmistress of an aided school in Kerala’s Kollam district, who was allegedly denied entry to the institution for wearing a churidar, said on Friday that she was afraid to continue working there, alleging that no action had been taken against the school manager behind the incident. When the headmistress had arrived at the school at around 9 am on Wednesday, the security staff stopped her from entering on the directions of the school manager, an official from the District Education Office (DEO) said. She later called the police and was allowed into the school only after officers from the Kottarakara police station arrived. Both the police and DEO officials had said that the school manager has no authority to prevent the headmistress from entering the school. A DEO official had also said that there was a government order that permits the wearing of churidars, a tight-fitting trouser extending below the leg, in schools.

People across Churachandpur district and other Kuki-Zo areas, including Moreh town bordering Myanmar, observed a 24-hour shutdown called by the Kuki Students’ Organisation. Friday’s peaceful shutdown followed a dawn-to-dusk bandh enforced by seven organisations on Thursday, which was marked by violence and arson. The Kuki-Zo Council, apex body of the Kuki-Zo tribes of Manipur, lauded the people for participating in the rallies. In Churachandpur district’s B. Vengnom village, locals felicitated four other Kuki-Zo MLAs for not “betraying” the community by joining the State government. Manipur has 10 Kuki-Zo MLAs, seven of them belonging to the BJP.

Tamil and Malayalam actress Anju Krishna was arrested in Chennai on Thursday in connection with a drug case, as per reports. The Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit Southern team conducted a major drug bust in Valasaravakkam, Chennai, arresting eight individuals, including Anju and Tamil assistant director Vincy Nivetha, they told local reporters. Drugs such as methamphetamine, LSD stamps, OG ganja and cannabis were recovered. Reports suggest that six grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of OG ganja, 15 grams of ganja, a smoking bong, a stamp and nine mobile phones were seized. Model-turned-actress Anju made her acting debut with the Tamil film Vellimalai.

GUWAHATI: Eighteen people were killed and one person was injured in a suspected dynamite blast at an illegal coal mine in Meghalaya on Thursday morning, marking one of the biggest coal mine tragedies in the coal-rich state. The incident took place at Mynsyngat in the Thangsko area under the Umpleng police outpost in East Jaintia Hills district. “An explosion took place inside an illegal coal mine, and several persons were suspected to be trapped. Rescue and disaster response operations were initiated without delay. The SP said teams from the National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, and the Special Rescue Team were deployed at the site, with rescue and recovery operations continuing.

Kumaraswamy to take up the proposal for a Bengaluru–Pune–Mumbai high-speed rail corridor, with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Mr. Patil noted the need for efficient, world-class connectivity between Bengaluru, India’s technology hub, and Mumbai, the country’s financial capital. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the Union Budget 2026–27 on Sunday (February 1, 2026), announced seven high-speed rail (HSR) corridors across the country, describing them as “growth connectors”. ALIGARH: Cricketer Rinku Singh's Facebook account has been hacked, police said on Friday, adding it is not yet clear whether any financial fraud has taken place. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Neeraj Kumar said Singh had earlier this week informed him over the phone about the alleged hacking of his social media account. According to the police, Rinku Singh, who hails from Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, had not been actively monitoring his Facebook account for the past several months due to his busy cricketing schedule. "It is not clear when exactly the account was hacked. The cyber crime cell has initiated a detailed investigation into the matter," SSP Kumar said.
