Bhandara News जिले के रेत घाटों से रेत उत्खनन करने पर राष्ट्रीय हरित न्यायाधिकरण (एनजीटी) पुणे ने गुरुवार, 5 फरवरी को रोक लगा दी गई। जिसके बाद 7 फरवरी से जिले के सभी 99 मंजूर रेत घाटों से रेत का उत्खनन बंद हो जाएगा। दरअसल, कुछ लोगों ने जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय और जिला खनिकर्म कार्यालय द्वारा बनाए गए उत्खनन प्लान पर सवाल खड़े करते हुए राष्ट्रीय हरित न्यायाधिकरण (एनटीजी) में प्रकरण दाखिल किया था। लेकिन जिला प्रशासन द्वारा न्यायालय में कोई जवाब नहीं दिए जाने पर रेत उत्खनन पर रोक लगा दी गई है।संग्रामसिंह भोसले, न्रुपाल दिंगनकर, पल्लवी काकडे, पुष्करा भोसले, संमित्रा पॉल, नमन शेरश्रा, स्नेहा भोसले ने राष्ट्रीय हरित न्यायाधिकरण (एनजीटी) में प्रकरण दाखिल कर भंडारा जिले के रेत उत्खनन प्लान पर सवाल उठाए थे। आवेदनकर्ताओं के अनुसार जिले के रेत घाटों से क्षमता से अधिक मात्रा में रेत उत्खनन करने की अनुमति प्रशासन द्वारा दी गई है। इसे लेकर राष्ट्रीय हरित न्यायाधिकरण (एनजीटी) ने जिलाधिकारी व जिला खनिकर्म अधिकारी से जवाब मांगा था। लेकिन प्रशासन द्वारा कोई जवाब नहीं दिया है।जिसके चलते न्यायालय ने 25 फरवरी तक रेती घाटों से उत्खनन पर रोक लगा दी। जिला प्रशासन को अपना 25 फरवरी को जवाब देने को कहा है। जिला प्रशासन के जवाब से न्यायालय संतुष्ट हुआ तो रेती घाटों से उत्खनन की अनुमती मिल सकती है। लेकिन रेती उत्खनन के प्लान पर न्यायालय जिला प्रशासन के जवाब पर संतुष्ट नहीं हुआ तो रेती घाटों के ठेके स्थायी रुप से रद्द किए जाने की संभावना है।

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the India-US trade agreement will not force the country to open up its market to any “major crops”, be it foodgrain, fruits or dairy products. Agriculture posed few problems when it came to finalising a free trade agreement with the European Union, which isn’t very cost competitive in most commodities. This may not be so with the US, which is a huge producer of large-acreage crops such as soyabean, corn and cotton. India, too, grows all three — soyabean on 13 million hectares (mh), and corn and cotton on 12 mh each. It is not for nothing that agriculture has been a key stumbling block in the trade negotiations.

CHENNAI: Highways Minister E V Velu on Friday said the ‘L’-shaped flyover at the Madhya Kailash junction will be inaugurated by Chief Minister MK Stalin on February 16. After inspecting the flyover, Velu said in a statement that the width has been increased at the right turn to ensure smoother movement, while the height of the parapet walls has been enhanced for safety. He added that the permitted speed limit on the flyover will be 30 kmph. Built at a cost of Rs 61 crore, the three-lane flyover has been designed to facilitate unidirectional traffic from Sardar Patel Road to Rajiv Gandhi Salai, bypassing the congested Madhya Kailash junction. The 652-metre-long structure begins about 350 metres from the existing flyover near the Cancer Institute-IIT Madras junction and ends on Rajiv Gandhi Salai opposite Kasturibai Nagar railway station.

During the proceedings, the Madras High Court also questioned Nadiadwala on whether Hera Pheri 3 is currently being made at all. However, when they approached Akshay Kumar, they discovered that Nadiadwala had already sold the rights to his production house.
