An 18-month-old girl detained for weeks by U.S. immigration authorities was returned to custody and denied medication after being hospitalized with a life-threatening respiratory illness, according to a lawsuit filed in Texas federal court. The child, identified in the lawsuit as "Amalia," was released by immigration authorities in President Donald Trump's administration after her parents sued on Friday. The family was detained during a check-in with immigration authorities on December 11 and held at a facility in Dilley, Texas, according to the lawsuit. Mukherjee said hundreds of children and families detained at Dilley lack sufficient drinking water, healthy food, educational opportunities or proper medical care, and should be released. The girl has lost 10% of her body weight and was given nutritional drinks to help her regain it, but these were also confiscated by authorities, according to the lawsuit.

Police in Faridabad have registered an FIR against a swing operator and his staff, a day after an on-duty inspector died and 11 others got injured when a giant ‘Tsunami’ swing snapped mid-air and collapsed at the Surajkund fairgrounds here, officials said. The accused have been booked under Section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the BNS at the Surajkund police station, they said. According to the complaint filed by Assistant Sub-inspector Sunny, he was present at the fairground with Inspector Prasad when many people were seen enjoying the ‘Tsunami’ swing ride. As the swing snapped mid-air, Prasad was seen trying to rescue those trapped in the swing. The district administration has informed that the fair will continue on Sunday, with the swing area closed pending further investigation.

राज्य ब्यूरो, लखनऊ। राज्य विद्युत उपभोक्ता परिषद ने कहा है कि कोई ऐसा कानून नहीं है जो बिजली कंपनियों पर उपभोक्ताओं का 51 हजार करोड़ रुपये निकलने पर भी बिजली दरें बढ़ाने की अनुमति दे।मांग की है कि उपभोक्ताओं की बिजली कंपनियों पर निकल रहे 51 हजार करोड़ रुपये का हिसाब बिजली कंपनियां करें। पांच वर्षों तक राज्य में बिजली की दरें 10 प्रतिशत कम की जाएं।परिषद अध्यक्ष अवधेश वर्मा ने प्रदेश सरकार से मांग की है कि विद्युत अधिनियम की धारा 108 के तहत बिजली कंपनियों को निर्देश दे कि वह उपभोक्ताओं के निकल रहे सरप्लस धनराशि का हिसाब बराबर करते हुए इसका लाभ उपभोक्ताओं को दें।

राज्य ब्यूरो, नई दिल्ली। रामलीला मैदान में 500 नई इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के शुभारंभ के अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि इस रामलीला मैदान ने अनेकों संघर्ष देखे हैं, और यहां एक ऐसी पार्टी भी ईमानदारी का ढोंग लेकर अनशन पर बैठी थी।जिन्होंने कहा था कि गाड़ी बंगला नहीं लेंगे, और फिर इसी रामलीला मैदान ने उन लोगों को गाड़ियों के काफिले के साथ देखा था, वे सत्ता में आने पर सब कुछ भूल गए और भ्रष्टाचार में डूब गए। दिल्ली ने 11 साल का पिछली सरकार का बर्बादी वाला कार्यकाल भी देखा।जिन्होंने दिल्ली का खजाना लूटा है, हमारी सरकार दिल्ली के विकास के लिए काम कर रही है और हम दिल्ली को विकास की ओर ले जा रहे हैं। आज दिल्ली में 500 इलेक्ट्रिक बसें शुरू होने जा रही हैं, इसके बाद दिल्ली में इलेक्ट्रिक बसों का बेड़ा 4000 हो जाएगा जो देश में किसी भी शहर में सबसे अधिक है।भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नितिन नवीन के साथ मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने नई ई-बसों को हरी झंडी हरी झंडी दिखाई। इन बसों के साथ दिल्ली में इलेक्ट्रिक बसों की संख्या चार हजार से अधिक हो जाएगी इसके साथ ही दिल्ली में कुल करीब 5700 बसें हो जाएंगी।दिल्ली सरकार ने ई-बसों की संख्या 2028 तक बढ़ाकर 14,000 करने का लक्ष्य रखा है। सरकार का दावा है कि अगले दो वर्षों में शहर के हर कोने में लोगों को ई-बसें उपलब्ध हो जाएंगी। सीएम ने कहा कि, दिल्ली के लिए नई ई रिक्शा पॉलिसी मिलेगी, दिल्ली की नई इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन नीति जल्द लागू होने वाली है। दिल्ली में मेट्रो का बेड़ा 400 किलोमीटर पहुंच गया है। पिछली सरकार ने 2700 करोड़ का मेट्रो का भुगतान नहीं किया, जिसे मेरी सरकार ने भुगतान किया है।
