The Nebraska football program’s long eight-year bowl drought came to an end with a 44-25 win over Wisconsin in a game Nebraska never trailed, instead controlling throughout. The victory secured Nebraska a six-win season and a bowl trip for the first time since the 2016 season. Wisconsin missed two field goals and committed two turnovers, crucial mistakes which Nebraska benefited from. A Black Friday game against Iowa may limit just how long the Nebraska players and coaches can soak in the emotions of finally breaking through and making a bowl game – but they’ll never forget how they felt when snapping the program’s bowl streak. “Everybody who loves Nebraska wanted it, and moments like that come once in a lifetime.”Photos: Nebraska football hosts Wisconsin on senior day — Nov. 23
