Jennifer Lawrence's The Hunger Games prequel debuts at the third place in China's box office. Jennifer Lawrence’s popular film franchise, The Hunger Games has extended its universe with a newly released prequel titled, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. As for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), it brought $28 million while The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and Part 2 brought an overall of $58 million. Whereas, the first and second positions at the Chinese box office were occupied by Who’s the Suspect and Be My Family. Meanwhile, director Francis Lawrence who helmed the three Hunger Games movies returned once again in the director’s chair.
