Peralta on Sunday urged law enforcement agents to arrest immediately those responsible for the death of Ako Bicol Party-List Rep. Rodel Batocabe. Batocabe was a member of the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal (HRET) which is chaired by Peralta. Batocabe was also a member of the committees on dangerous drugs, health, energy, tourism, and good government in the House of Representatives. They were rushed to a local hospital but were both declared dead on arrival.
