He won top prizes at international competitions, including the first prize and golden medal of the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in Saint Petersburg in 1997. Russian cellist Feygin will perform Cello Concerto No 1 in A Minor, op 33 by French composer Camille Saint-Saens in 1872.
