Then Brandon Montour exited Monday's blowout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks in the third period. He won't suit up Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues as he recovers from a hyper-extended elbow, coach Randy Carlyle said. His six goals lead all Ducks defensemen, and are tied for second among all NHL defensemen. Montour's 13 points make him the third-leading scorer among Ducks players, and with top scorer Rickard Rakell already out of the lineup, this is yet another big blow to the team's chances during a pivotal road swing. The 23-year-old has played in all 24 of the Ducks' game this season.
