The police claimed that the uncle had taken the minor to a secluded place and tried to force himself upon him. When the boy resisted and raised an alarm, the uncle strangulated him to death. When the minor boy tried to escape from his uncle's clutches, the accused pinned him down, strangulated him and later dumped his body. The minor's parents had registered a kidnapping case with Juhu police after the boy had gone missing. "The accused during interrogation told the police that he had sodomised the boy earlier too," said a crime branch police officer.
